Harbor Health Scorecard

The Harbor Health Scorecard was commissioned by the Great Harbor Yacht Club Foundation to provide a view of the health of the Harbor ecosystem as a whole. It is designed to pinpoint problems and help identify solutions to improve ecosystem conditions.

Overall, Nantucket Harbor is in “fair” to “good” condition with a letter grade of B- with nutrients being the single most controllable pollutants entering the ecosystem. Sources of nutrients include stormwater runoff and wastewater flows. Please see report below for full details and how we can all help to improve the health of our beautiful harbor.
