January 2025: Great Harbor Yacht Club Foundation Awards Grants to Support Harbor Health Initiatives

In a demonstration of commitment to our mission, the Great Harbor Yacht Club Foundation has this month distributed its semi-annual grants to support a range of initiatives driven by our island partners.

While almost $250,000 was distributed to community-based organizations through this cycle, GHYC Foundation has granted approximately $750,000 to almost 20 organizations over the past few years.  Each organization was chosen for their dedication to addressing critical issues such water quality monitoring, scallop research and education, eelgrass management and assessing microplastic pollution in the Harbor.
